- Flush the toilet to let the water out of the tank.
- Put a bucket under the toilet tank to catch any excess water that will run out.
- Remove the supply line.
- Remove the nut that is securing the fill valve.
- Use the bucket and flush the water through the supply line a few times.
- Adjust the height of the new fill valve as shown in the video.

- Tighten the new nut to hold it in place.
